Though we are on a 6 bedroom, 6 bath yacht, you will spend a lot if time on board with other people. The most fun adventures occur with fun people. Stay laid back, relax, have fun, enjoy life and take heart in meeting new people.
Getting to the British Virgin Islands (BVI):
You can fly in directly to the British Virgin Islands at Tortola's Beef Islands airport (EIS), by taking small ferry flights from San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) or St. Thomas. Typically, the least expensive way is to fly into St. Thomas, USVI (STT) and then take the $35, 30 minute boat ferry to the British side of the Virgin Islands.
Once in the BVI, you'll go through customs and then need to take a taxi to the Marina.
In general, each day has a similar feel. You'll wake up in paradise, enjoy the quietness of the ocean bay in the morning as you watch the sun rise over the islands. Grab some fruit and a roll and don't forget the Bloody Mary or Beer. When everyone wakes up, we'll set sail for 2-3 hours to the next island. Sometimes even dolphins swim next to the boat. Once at the island, we'll anchor and the day is yours: relax on the boat, go snorkeling, hike to the island's peak for a spectacular view, go onto shore and enjoy the beach to yourself or head to the beach bar and take in the island life. There is no schedule, you're on "island time" which is defined as "whenever you want".
In the evenings, the crew will usually choose to eat on shore at a restaurant or cook on the boat. We'll sometimes have a theme where a couple will cook an "Italian" meal and everyone dresses up in togas. After dinner, the crew will head into the beach bar and enjoy the company of the 20-30 other boats anchored in the harbor who are also looking for fun.
